公視自2008年展開一系列手機短片創作工作坊，指導11-14歲的青少年以手機拍攝短片。公共電視提供基礎攝影、影像教育與手機操作的課程，同時為每個團隊指派一位資深導演，全程協助青少年進行拍攝作業。

In 2008, Public Television Service (PTS) launched a series of two-day experimental mobile video workshops for youngsters 11 to 14. Courses on cinematography, video storytelling and mobile phone operation are provided. Each team is paired with a professional director to guide them through the filming process.
