你相信老鷹竟也能像靈犬萊西一般幫助人類嗎？在西蒙古的遊牧民族中，有捕捉並馴服老鷹的傳統，故事中的父親，希望二兒子巴扎拜能成為家中繼承馴鷹傳統的接班人，但小巴扎拜卻一心想要逃離鄉下生活，可惜只有哥哥可汗可以離開家裡，到城市生活。有一天，巴扎拜決心離家出走，父親只能派出家中的老鷹，守護不懂人心險惡的小巴扎拜… 

Twelve-year-old Barzebai is unlike other Nomad boys his age. He dreams of leaving behind the green pastures of his native Western Mongolian province, lured instead by the call of the urban jungle: Ulan Bator. But Barzebai's father has his own aspirations: One day, the young boy will make him proud by following the famed eagle hunter's own footsteps.
