「小淘氣」尼古拉是個想像力豐富的小學生，自從媽媽懷孕之後，他就開始擔心被爸媽丟掉，同學們也不停的舉例嚇他，搞得尼古拉很憂鬱。有一天，爸媽突然要帶他去森林度假，尼古拉嚇壞了，以為要被丟掉啦！同學們異想天開，展開「保衛尼古拉大作戰」，決定利用各種奇門妙招，讓小baby永遠消失…。

Nicholas leads a peaceful existence. His parents love him, he has a gang of great friends, and he has no desire that anything should change… But one day, Nicholas overhears a conversation between his parents that leads him to believe that his mother is pregnant. He panics and imagines the worst: soon a little brother will be there who will take up so much space that his parents will no longer have time to take care of him. They’ll even abandon him in the woods…

2005年8月，卡崔娜颶風重創美國，紐奧良幾乎成了一座廢城。幸運生還的孩子們，用童稚的眼光回憶風災，畫下了自己的心情，有人想用龍來攻擊颶風，有人希望白馬王子來救他們，從孩子們的畫裡，我們看到了落難急待救援的困境。回到災區，看到殘破的家園，想起自己失去了家人朋友、失去了一切，只能打起精神展望未來…。

This memorable and highly evocative documentary examines the effects of Hurricane Katrina through the eyes, voices, and drawings of the city's children. With their disarming honesty and innocent wisdom, the children are at once witnesses, victims, heroes and survivors. The film, like the children, is both deeply moving and at times refreshingly funny.

Five years ago, Banda Aceh, Sumatra was devastated by a tsunami. Almost 230,000 people perished, including the mother and sister of the now 12-year-old Syawal. He survived the catastrophe, as did his father, but he will never forget the awful disaster: "Only when I'm playing with my friends do I forget for awhile and feel happy."

 98年8月8日莫拉克風災重創台灣，許多孩子在災難中失去至親與家園，本屆兒童影展邀請五位導演分頭拍攝，記錄孩子如何面對創傷、如何詮釋問題、如何走出傷痛。

This four-part documentary chronicles the children victims of Typhoon Morakot that scrapped Taiwan on Aug 8, 2009, causing mudslides that washed away villages, taking a life tool of over 600 in Taiwan, and many more in the Philippines. This is a TICFF initiative.

This is a story about Yu-mi, a young girl who lost half of her classmates during the typhoon. She tries to live life to the fullest, knowing this is what her friends would have liked.

一個27位孩子尋找水源的故事。他們在水庫上游，卻沒有自來水可用。水是生活的能量，卻也摧毀他們的家園。他們不停尋找水源，也學習跟大自然和平相處。透過孩子，讓我們重新體認八八風災。

In a village upstream of the dam, one water pipe offers the only source of fresh water. The 27 children living here are on a search for water that heals and not destroys.

莫拉克帶來大雨，讓茂林鄉萬山部落的美麗山脈突然變身為怪獸。山坡上的土石流從怪獸的血盆大口傾洩而出，讓孩子們不敢多看一眼。大雨過後，藉由美勞創作工作坊，我們想聽孩子的聲音，讓孩子說說心裡話。

The monster wakes violently, erupting an avalanche of no tomorrow. After the storm, the sun shines again, and a rainbow appears. Children illustrate their fears and chase away the monsters.
